Beacons current funders HPV have confirmed they wil not be renewing the funding line when it expires in 2010 and as per FSA rules Beacon have had to give 3 months notice of this fact. As a result they have confirmed they will not be accepting any new business, this is to ensure that they meet the committments of their current pipeline (deals offered only).

This is a hammer blow to brokers & their clients, as Beacon were in essence the only remaining " Specialist Lender " left in the market, also the speed with which it happended took everyone by susprise.

It still remains extremely trying conditions for packagers, brokers & clients in the mortgage market however Beacon are very optomistic in obtaining further funding in the not too distant future.
